Whether related to natural or to man-made landscape, these architectures eliminate any layer of experience so as to create a link between elements on the margin, from the boundaries of which all things begin to “come into presence”, and the beholder, an actor called in to resolve and complete the superficial tension. Emerging from the margins, a beam of light, violent punctum defining the relation between the internal and the external, connecting the noted – the visible – with the unnoted – the unknown, the inside and the outside.
